AR Accountant
About the Role
RTC-1 Employment is looking for an experienced AR Accountant to join a UAE-based FMCG distributor in Sharjah. The role involves managing customer receivables, collections, reconciliations, claims, deductions, credit/debit notes, rebates, ageing analysis and customer statements. Candidates should have at least 3 years of Accounts Receivable experience, preferably in FMCG, with strong Excel and ERP skills. CMA, Inter CA or a Master’s in Accounting/Finance is required. UAE experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Managing customer receivables
- Managing customer claims and deductions
- Handling collections and reconciliations
- Processing credit/debit notes and rebates
- Following up with customers and Sales/Commercial teams
- Managing customer statements
- Preparing ageing analysis
- Ensuring timely collection of outstanding balances
- Preparing receivables and collection reports
- Supporting month-end closing
Requirements
- FMCG industry experience required
- UAE experience preferred
- Strong MS Excel knowledge
- SAP HANA is an added advantage
- ERP/accounting systems knowledge
- Must have CMA, Inter CA, or Master’s Degree in Accounting/Finance.
